(More customer reviews)The flexible scraper that comes standard with the Multi-Max is great for tasks such as removing caulk from walls and other applications where you're removing something that is semi-rigid - the flexible blade helps get under what you're trying to remove much easier than a ridgid blade.
But, there's some tasks where you need a thicker scraper. The rigid scraper is more heavy-duty, and works well when you want to remove things such as dried adhesive or thinset from a subfloor. It's also good for cleaning out the corners of a plunge cut or scraping dried/caked on grass from under a mower. The edge lasts a lot longer than the flexible scraper.
