I used this paper to remove old thinset. While it was useful for getting into tight corners, the reality is that the Dremel Multi tool is not well suited for tasks that require heavy pressure; it depends more on the high-speed motion to do its work. The diamond paper holds up well and is long lasting, but without pressure on the material to be removed, its effectiveness is limited.

Ideal for renovation enthusiasts, hobbyists, crafters, and do-it-yourselfers, this paper requires the MM11 hook and loop pad accessory (not included), and it gives you greater flexibility and sanding power when you need it most.

Grinds, Shapes, and Smoothes Heavy-Duty MaterialDesigned to expand the capabilities of your Multi-Max oscillating tool and to work quickly and efficiently with minimal user effort, this 60-grit paper uses the hardness of real diamonds to tackle light to heavy sanding jobs. It's best suited for rough grinding, shaping, and smoothing of masonry, stone, cement, and mortar. It also properly prepares a floor or wall surface for tile replacement, leaving behind smooth, even results.
Flexible, User-Friendly OperationWhether you're renovating a bathroom or kitchen, smoothing a cement garden bench, or crafting stone jewelry, the MM900 offers user-friendly operation that minimizes stress on your hand or wrist. To use, attach the MM11 hook and loop pad accessory (not included) to your Dremel Multi-Max tool, attach the MM900 hook and loop Diamond Paper, then select the proper speed depending on how quickly you wish to remove material. Avoid applying excess pressure--let the tool and the paper do all the work.
Tips for Even Wear and Longer LifeThe entire surface of the MM900 diamond grit paper can be used to complete your sanding jobs. Finish corners using either the tip or edge of the paper. Occasionally rotate the paper during use to distribute the wear on the accessory and backing pad surface; periodic rotation will also help ensure longer life.
