(More customer reviews)This is one of the best tools I have ever purchased. Everyone who works with fabric and has a need to cut circles should consider investing in this Olfa Circle Cutter. The cutter is very easy to use and there is little to no hand or wrist strain. It's design is simple and easy to hold steady. The circles can be cut very quickly with perfect accuracy every time! The fabric doesn't bunch, pull or get caught during the cutting which is important because fabric can be expensive - there is very little waste with this tool. Thank you Olfa for this amazing product!

Dremel EZ456 1-1/2-Inch EZ Lock Rotary Tool Cut-Off Wheels for Metal, 5-Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this product and the EZ406 product (same but with a mandrel) from Amazon, I'm very pleased with these cut-off wheels for heavier duty jobs, they'll make quick work of 2mm-3mm steel, which is pretty impressive for my money with a Dremel.
A couple of thoughts:
1) The EZ406 package (Dremel EZ406 1 1/2-Inch EZ Lock Rotary Tool Cut-Off Wheel & Mandrel Metal Cutting Starter Kit) includes a quick change mandrel and the same number of cut-off wheels for only a couple dollars more, it's convenient to me to have multiple mandrels with accessories pre-attached (I know it's quick release, it's still convenient, and I have multiple rotary tools) so unless you already have a few 'EZ Lock' mandrels, I'd suggest that package.
2) These leave burns in wood incredibly easily, and yes I have a variable speed Dremel and use the various speeds. Maybe it sounds obvious to some, and admittedly the 'standard' fiberglass wheels do so as well, but even for a small quick wood cut I'd suggest taking the time to swap out for a plain old (non-fiberglass) heavy-duty cut-off wheel. Works fine for plastic though, cuts like butter.

The bits work perfect in my Dremel tool. The diamond part does wear down after drilling a lot, but for the price I think it is a great deal & it gets the job done.

(More customer reviews)The EZ Lock works great and is fast to install. Initial cost of spindle adds to cost, but can be used for other applications. The abrasive buffs are not as aabrasive as I had hoped for, but do the job taking a little longer. They are more for polish than real abrasive as the "Buffs" might imply. I did find the selection and cost better at the local Home Depot after I receoved the order, but put that in the experience column to check around.

Pro-Quality 20-Piece Diamond-Point Bit Set for Rotary Tool - Glass, Stone, Ceramic Review

(More customer reviews)This set of 20 bits costs less than one high-quality diamond bit from other sources, and the bits did the job for which they were purchased.
Used them to drill two 1/8 inch diameter holes in non-tempered window glass. This must be done slowly to avoid overheating and possibly fracturing the glass. Used several different bits to change shapes in the hope of making it go faster. When done, the holes were fine and all of the bits still seemed to have their abrasive surfaces.
I've read elsewhere that a high-quality diamond bit will last for perhaps three holes like these, and that it takes about two minutes to make one hole. Well, it took about 30 minutes per hole, but more than half of that time was spent pausing to let the glass and bit cool off. Since all of the bits still have diamond grit on them, it seems likely that they'll be able to make several more holes before wearing out.
NOTE: Tempered glass probably will shatter if drilled. This window didn't have a "tempered" logo in the corner and looked normal when viewed through polarized sunglasses.
