Although the photo shows approximately 20-25 pieces, you only get 10. Quality seems somewhat mediocre. Had there been 20-25 pieces then it might have been an acceptable value for the price. Avoid the disappointment, buy the Dremel parts.

All I can suggest is that you do not buy this product. I purchased this for use with the Proxxon 38481 IB/E Professional Rotary Tool, which is great. The tool runs smooth and does not get hot, even when in use for hours. The flexishaft, however when using this flex shaft, it rattled, vibrated, and heated up within a minute. Even with the most delicate work, I would rather use the tool without.

RotoZip DR01-1100 Drywall Router with Soft Handle, 2 XBITS, Bit Case & Collet Accessory Pack Review

RotoZip DR01-1100 Drywall Router with Soft Handle, 2 XBITS, Bit Case and Collet Accessory Pack
Average Reviews:

I got this for a great price. And that was the only reason I like it. I found it really hard to control and make straight cuts with it. And that was even in 5/8" drywall. Sometimes it would cut smoothly through the drywall, other times it would struggle. I know why it does it, but it seems silly to me. I didn't care so much about this because the project I bought this for didn't require me to have straight cuts anyway. I was cutting holes in the drywall just to be able to get a drill inside the wall.
The thing makes a huge mess as well. The inevitable drywall dust blows EVERYWHERE because there's a fan inside the saw that blows dust away from the bearings. The sliding bracket that controls cut depth leaves black marks all over the surface you're cutting. They came off easily enough, but really?
The thing that drove me crazy was the fact that the attachments that RototZip makes DO NOT work on this saw. I bought a circle cut guide that said it worked on every RotoZip spiral saw (read the fine print, dummy!). But not this one.
I see that Dremel is coming out with a multi-role device for $99. So far it looks like the best deal. But if you're just looking to make quick, not-so-straight cuts then this will work for you.

The drywallers of America have spoken--and they asked for a router that is small, short, fast, and durable. RotoZip answered the call with the DR1-1100 Drywall Router Kit. The innovative DR1 router has a lightweight, compact design with all the power and reliability professionals need to tackle heavy-duty jobs. And with on-tool wrench storage, depth guide, replaceable motor brushes, and more, the DR1 ensures you'll get your cut-out work done efficiently and easily.
Big Power in a Small PackageWeighing in at only 2.8 pounds and measuring 7.5 inches in length, the DR1 drywall-specific router is easy to hold and packs a significant punch. Custom created for drywallers by drywallers, the DR1 is 20 percent shorter and features a smaller grip diameter than its competitors, providing enhanced cutting capabilities and control while minimizing user fatigue.
Even with its small size, the DR1 doesn't skimp on power. In fact, at 33,000 RPM versus the competition's 30,000, the DR1 is the fastest spinning drywall tool on the market. And, its six amps of power deliver up to 45 percent higher speeds under load than other models, providing more power to cut around large areas such as windows and doors. And thanks to overload protection, you can be sure the DR1 will operate smoothly every time you use it.
Chock-Full of User-Friendly FeaturesThe DR1 is packed with user-friendly features to help you complete your cut-out work efficiently. To start, a handy on-tool wrench storage compartment simplifies bit changes, and replaceable motor brushes and available service parts reduce downtime. For further convenience, the DR1 has a smart venting system that keeps dust away from you for a healthier, safer working environment.
Additionally, the DR1 features revamped XBITS that are capable of cutting more than 2,000 feet of drywall, a redesigned depth guide that allows for maximum visibility, and a durable, hardened steel lock pin encased in solid aluminum to prevent the shaft lock from breaking.
The DR1-1100 Kit comes with one 1/8-inch collet and nut, one 5/32-inch collet and nut, and 1/4-inch collet and nut. The drywall router can also be used with Zip Bits.
Durable Construction Withstands Tough JobsThe DR1 Drywall Router is built to last. For starters, a metal reinforced shaft lock, metal bearing plate, and hand polished, die-cast aluminum front housing ensure optimum durability for longer life.
Also, a low-profile hardened steel depth guide and fiberglass stainless steel reinforced body combine with a contractor-grade high-strand rubber cord to stand up to rough-and-tough conditions. A heavy-duty on/off switch is dust sealed to protect the tool from damaging particles.

RotoZip CRCT2 Circle Cutter Attachment Review

RotoZip CRCT2 Circle Cutter Attachment
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The reviews stating that the RotoZip CRCT2 circle cutter slips out of adjustment very easy, are true. And because it slips, it makes this tool useless. HOWEVER if you take about 5 minutes of your time and about 10 cents worth of material you can absolutely fix the problem. The problem is caused by the internal plastic parts slipping and subsequently moving, even though you have tightened the adjustment knob as tight as it will go. Here is the fix: take a sheet of sandpaper (I used 180 grit wet or dry sand paper) and using a compass, mark out two - 2 1/4 inch circles. Cut the two circles out of the sandpaper and using glue (I used super glue) adhere the two pieces of sandpaper together, back to back, that is to say, glue the back sides (the non sandpaper side) of each piece to the backside of the other piece. When dry use a punch and punch a 5/8 inch size hole in the exact center of the circle (use the compass again to get this a perfect size of 5/8 inch). Remove the adjustment knob and separate the two pieces of the tool, remove the rubber o-ring you no longer need it, insert the sandpaper washer over the "hub" on the bottom half of the tool, and reassemble the tool. Guess what, you are all done and now have a useful WORKING circle cutter, that will hold its adjustment every time. I have cut many circles with mine and the homemade sandpaper "friction washer" is still functioning perfectly. Why in the world the BOSCH (RotoZip) people could not come up with this I will never know. Maybe if they read this posting they will update their tool.

Nothing wrong with the product. I got it for a really great price, but here is the deal.
It was advertised as "Country of Origin USA" and the photo graphic clearly showed the
Made in USA packaging. Alas, what I received was made in China. That is clearly false
advertising. If the company would only change the advertisement then everything would be fine.
I did email them about this.
Bottom line if you need a cheap 3/8" Chuck that will work hard for a long time then one of
these will probably work fine. But eventually they will wear out.

For general purpose cutting these are the choice. They do well in a variety of non-abrasive materials. Just don't push them hard or you will need another 5 pack right away. The bits do better if you just let the tool do the work. They are kind of hard to control if you want a nice cut. But that's the nature of spiral saws . The down cutting spiral is nice since the dust is blown away from you instead of back at your face. It's pretty simple , if you have a spiral saw , you need these bits.

Hitachi 728022-1/4-Inch Diamond Core Bit Review

Hitachi 728022-1/4-Inch Diamond Core Bit
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have 1" square porcelain (ceramic) tile, about 1/4" thick, on my bathroom wall that I was having problems drilling. I'm guessing it has a Porcelain Enamel Institute (PEI) rating of class V (class 5) and would rate at least a 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, since I couldn't scratch it with a normal high speed steel drill bit. I tried masonry bits, a Sears Craftsman Glass and Tile Bit (with a carbide tip shaped like an arrowhead), and the similar Black & Decker Glass & Tile Drill Bit, 5/16", but after a half hour was able to penetrate a single tile to a depth of only about 1/8".
So I bought this ingenious bit, which is 2-3/16" in length. The 1" chuck end is smooth and round (which can slip if not seated tightly enough). It's 3/8" in diameter, so check that your drill can accept this size. The 1-3/16" length working end consists of a hollow cylindrical barrel tube. The far end of the barrel has diamond powder sintered onto its edge; the next 3/8" of the barrel has reverse flute threads on the outside; and the near end of the barrel has a 5/8" long slot on the side for "core removal ejection."
The back and the front of the package have two important notes. First, the package states "only for use in cordless drills." Although I used a cordless drill, you could probably use a grounded or double insulated corded drill that can rotate at low speeds. Second, "for best results the drill bit requires water lubrication." Hitachi offers a Drill Guide and Water Cooling System that I didn't buy; I simply dipped the tip in a cup of water every 10-15 seconds. Per the manufacturer's Web site, water on the outside allows "the reverse flute threads... [to] continuously supply water to the cutting edge, cooling the bit tip, and extending its life."
You start by placing the drill head at an angle to the wall to create a crescent-shaped sort of "pilot hole" in the tile, then you gradually tilt the drill bit perpendicular to the wall to finish the job. WOW! After I got the hang of it, it took me only four minutes to drill through each tile. I'm not sure how many times the bit can be used, but I notice only very light wear on the diamonds after drilling six holes. This bit is worth every penny!
BTW, unlike the reviewer who complained that the Hitachi 729404 5/8-Inch Diamond Core Bit was actually 15mm instead of 5/8" (i.e., was almost a full millimeter less than 5/8"), this 8mm bit is only 0.063mm larger than 5/16".

RECIPROCATING HAND PIECE Review

RECIPROCATING HAND PIECE
Average Reviews:

I am running this with a Black & Decker RTX power unit and it all works as expected. It is a bit underpowered but seems about the same as a Proxon complete hand-held unit. I need it for carving mandolin tops and backs and it works well for that. The tools that come with it are adequate but I also bought a Flexcut spoon bit and it drives that much more easily. Flexcut bits are strongly recommended. For what it is designed for it is excellent but I didn't give it 5-stars because the vibration at the handpiece is a bit higher than I like, a bit more mass would probably improve the feel a good bit.

Good for a few holes if you are very careful and slow. The thin wall of the bit means it's easy to bend the shaft and the tip wears quickly.
The Hitachi bits are much better and not much more if you search for a good price. Instead of the plastic drill guide with the Plasplugs kit, you can easily make one with a small piece of plywood. A spray water bottle keeps the bit cool.

I have three Dremel Roto Tools, two of which are free-standing (the other is mounted in a drill press fixture). The free standing ones were always in the way on my workbench until I discovered these handy sky hooks. Now I use two of them and whenever I use one it is just a short reach to grab the one I want and then hang it back up when I'm finished. The hook came with two extra length of pole which were too much for my hobby bench, so I only use one length of pole. This is a great way to keep those fabulous Dremels and right now (2/11/07) Amazon has them on sale for only about $12 each. Great buy for a great product.

RotoZip RZ05-1100 RZ5 5 Amp 30,000 RPM Spiral Saw with 3 Jaw Chuck, 1 Sabrecut Bit, and 2 Guidepoint Bits
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this locally when installing a trash compactor into existing cabinets in place of a jig saw. I usually buy DeWalt, but the store clerk seemed knowledgeable and recommended this unit. I bought it with extra SZ05 Sabrecut wood bits.
Very good power, no complaints about the grip. Sort of like a Dremel on steroids. I had problems controlling it making long straight line cuts and eventually used my Sawzall to clean them up. I also had problems making small curved cuts (half inch wide, quarter inch high) in wood. This will probably be less of a problem with practice.
Cutting through about 1/2" oak is probably near the limits of RZ05 capabilities. The same size particle board presented no problems.
Wrenchless bit change is good, but...when starting a cut at an angle, as recommended in the manual, it's really easy to angle the plastic bit grip into the work surface, at which point the red bit grip melts and spatters plastic all over the work surface. Very quickly, I might add. This needs some re-design IMHO.
Gravity will pull out the bit on vertical cuts (i.e. bit at bottom) until one learns how tight to make the chuck. In some cases, and I haven't figured out why yet, the chuck unthreads from the threaded drive shaft when trying to loosen it with no bit in place. This was noted in another review.
Case is good, but it seems large for the RZ05 by itself. I guess if one buys the full complement of accessories, it will be needed.
It comes with a good little accessory bit holder, but packages of extra bits don't fit, only the bits themselves. This makes it difficult to separate new bits by type.
My recommendations:
1. If you are a professional, this thing will probably live up to the Rotozip reputation.
2. If you are a weekend do-it-yourselfer, I think the RZ05 has limitations for the casual user. I strongly advise practice cuts with this unit before doing any serious work with it.
3. Use two hands! It can kick back, and nicked my finger when I was using it one-handed. Gloves probably will not help in this situation. Eye protection is, as always, important. I'm probably guilty of using my Dremel habits with this, and the RZ05 is a much more serious package. Ear protection is a must. (I use Howard Leight 33dB foamies.)
4. I think I'm going to buy the ROTOZIP Straight Edge Guide Model SEG1 to help with the straight cuts and the RotoZip RZVAC1 Dust Extraction Adapter Kit. This generates a lot of dust. Search Amazon for them.
Would I buy it again? Yes, but the reconditioned units from Amazon are probably better for the do-it-yourselfer. It's hard to say, since everyone's experience varies.

I purchased this based on the picture, which I thought matched the description. However, the Milescraft 1001 tool isn't remotely the same as what you see in the pictures. It is NOT a corner tool, like what is shown in the pictures. It is, in fact, a plunge drill guide for rotary tools, which is intended for use on flat surfaces, not corners.
