It was advertised as "Country of Origin USA" and the photo graphic clearly showed the
Made in USA packaging. Alas, what I received was made in China. That is clearly false
advertising. If the company would only change the advertisement then everything would be fine.
I did email them about this.
Bottom line if you need a cheap 3/8" Chuck that will work hard for a long time then one of
these will probably work fine. But eventually they will wear out.

1/4" Heavy Duty Flex Shaft with Keyless Chuck Review

(More customer reviews)This Enkay Flex Shaft is advertised as heavy duty and it seems to live up to that title, I received mine today it feels well made and solid, I have used it only once so far and it worked great.
The Enkay's 1/4 inch chuck holds the drill bit securely and spins it accuratly on center with only a slight amount of play. The shaft itself spins smoothly even while double looped in a 8 inch circle so should have no trouble bending around awkward areas.
One thing worth noting, on the packaging it says this shaft is designed to rotate clockwise and shouldnt be used in reverse, this is not mentioned here on amazon. I have run my drill slowly in reverse just to see what would happen and it seems fine, I would try using it in reverse if I really needed reverse drill bits to remove a sheared off bolt as it feels like it still runs smoothly that way but be aware the caution note on the packaging advises against it.

(More customer reviews)This drill bit proved to be exactly what I needed to make my Christmas presents. It shipped to my house on time and the description of the product was exactly what I recevied. The only negative comment I can make regarding this product is the fact that it didn't last as long as I would have liked. I was able to drill through approximately 35 pieces of glass before the drill bit began to show wear and tear. I followed the directions that accompanied the drill bit, but I was unable to drill through the glass without the diamond coating wearing off.

Shop Fox D2731 4-Inch Cross Sliding Vise Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this cross slide vise by Shop Fox for use on my Ridgid drill press. The vise is fine for holding a piece to simply drill a hole. You are assured the hole is vertical and straight. However, if you want to drill a series of holes in line by using the cross slide travel, I find the holes will not be in line when I finish.
The reason for this is the vise portion is not at a perfect 90 degrees to the transverse travel portion. Worse yet, there is no adjustment to correct the vise to a perpendicular position.
I also wanted to use the vise to make slots and mortises by using a center cutting end mill in the drill press. However, with the vise not being perpendicular, the slot will be out of line by almost a 1/16" after about 8" of travel.
My opinion is if you only want to drill a hole or two, this is a good economical vise. If you want quality and precision, spend the money to buy a really good cross slide vise.

Alum Oxide Grind Stone,Cylindrical Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this bit along with the 8175 to grind out several brass strikeplates on some newly installed doors. Like the 8175 bit the 8153 did a great job grinding brass. I ended up using this one to square out the corners of the grinded notch because the 8175 was just too big. I would not reccomend this bit for much larger work because of its size (its just too small. But for deburring it is great.

Proxxon 27100 Micro Compound Table KT 70 Review

(More customer reviews)The Proxxon KT70 is a great XY table. I have purchased two of them so far, for use as part of the Nano Gigapan project to allow us to take high resolution mosaiced images under microscopes.
You can take the knobs off and couple them to stepper motors fairly easily, and thus have an automated xy stage for a fraction of the price of equipment designed for microscopy.
The KT70 moves 1 mm per turn of the handles, and a 115x microscope has about a .75 mm field of view, so there is plenty of precision and accuracy in the KT70 for this purpose. In fact, the KT70 has 20 hash marks per revolution, so each hash mark is 50 microns. From my measurements the table has the accuracy to repeatably hit these marks.
That does point out one issue for Americans - everything is metric. 50 micros = 0.0019 inches - about 2 thousandths.
If you google 'Nano Gigapan' you'll find our project, along with examples of using the KT70 in scientific applications.

I guess the saws lasted better than expected as my Dremel saw belonged to my father and was given to me in his will. The saw is working fine and my father had many extra blades that were slowly breaking and the replacement blades were not available for years. Imagine my surprise just as I was down to two fragile blades I found them again on Amazon! Yea!!!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this set for drilling holes in some extremely hard porcelain tile. They worked exactly as needed. We ran them at a slower speed and kept them well lubricated with water while cutting/grinding. I can't speak to their long-term durability since we needed to make less than a dozen holes. I would suspect that with their small size and small cutting surface their useful life would be somewhat limited. Having said that, they were exactly what we needed since no other drill would make a dent in the tile. The nice size selection allows you create the exact hole size needed. Overall, I was very pleased with the price/performance ratio.
This was purchased from hobbytoolsupply here on Amazon and shipping was extremely quick.
