Flexible Shaft Cable Review

Flexible Shaft Cable

Flexible Shaft Cable Good quality flex shaft fits older Dremel and Craftsman variable speed tools. Machined aluminum parts actually seem a little sturdier than OEM. Slightly noisier when operating than OEM.

1/8" Air Micro Die Grinder Review

1/8 Air Micro Die Grinder

This is a good and versitile unit. The directions say not to use with cutting discs, but I had no difficulty with it. Good for small detail work, and better than a Dremel in some instances, but not a 100% replacement for one. I would rather have a trigger button than the twist on/off, but that's just me. I would recommend this to a friend.

Milescraft 1003 Flex Shaft for Rotary Tools Review

Milescraft 1003 Flex Shaft for Rotary Tools

I am a new customer to Milescraft. I am also very happy with my decision to buy outside the Dremel-brand. As a long time Dremel-brand user, I finally switched to the Black and Decker RTX with rave results. I decided if there was this much of a huge quality difference in there tools, then I should try other brands accessories. I went on a limb and purchaced this shaft to replace my broken dremel-brand flex-shaft. I am also very happy in doing so. The dremel-brand has a louder operating noise and starts to bind at less of an angle. I also like the quick way you and replace tips on the Milescraft flex shaft.
You will be happy.

Dremel 225-01 Flex Shaft Attachment Review

Dremel 225-01 Flex Shaft Attachment
Average Reviews:

I've found the flex-shaft to be one of the most useful Dremel tool accessories. It's great for those remote, hard-to-reach areas of my work pieces where the width of the tool itself would hinder my efforts, ot it just can't reach. It took a while for me to get the hang of using it, since it required a bit more hand control than I originally anticipated. Just make sure to keep it as straight as possible, and don't bend it too much- it heats up pretty quickly, especially at the bends. And heat's the big killer of this accessory. Also, be sure to have a bit of the flex-shaft grease handy for occasional lubrication.
The only thing that annoys me about the flex-shaft is that it won't accept a chuck to secure the bits, just collets. This can be a major frustration when I'm doing work that requires constant bit changes, with different bit diameters. Just when I thought I was rid of those pesky collets forever...
