(More customer reviews)I purchased these for my Dremel, thinking I was getting a great deal for the set. They are supposed to be diamond tipped burs for working with glass, ceramic, and stone. I purchased them to use with glass. Compared to the one diamond tipped Dremel brand bit that I already had, these didn't even compare. I did a simple test of trying to drill a small hole in a piece of glass. I used water to cool the heat of friction created by the spinning bit. The Dremel bit worked great and made a nice neat little hole in my glass. The bits from this set performed horribly. They wouldn't even go through a thin sheet of stained glass. They each overheated to the point where the tip glowed red and caused the glass to crack. Before the bit even made it through the glass, the diamond tipping actually came off so that the end of the bit was bald. I thought maybe I had a defective tip, so I repeated the same experiment with some more of the drilling bits with the same results. This was such a poor quality product that I just threw the rest of them away. If you think you're getting all these bits for a great deal, stop and think what purpose you really need diamond tipped bits for, then invest in one or two good quality tips from Dremel, itself. You'll get a much better quality product.

(More customer reviews)I'm not happy about paying nearly $20 to replace a battery pack that SHOULD be servicable to start with. Come on Dremel... just put four standard AA batteries in a case that opens and let us buy higher quality batteries for less money.
My last pack stopped working way to quickly, but I have a need for the tool, so I guess I'm stuck.
Oh well.

(More customer reviews)I bought it for my dog's nails. It arrived yesterday morning just after I started trying to fix the tiles in the shower - who were put in by a moron. Two were shoved so closely together that there was no room for grout and water leaked in rotting the wall board. I didn't know what to do since it meant cutting a tile to fit - something I don't know how to do. I thought of the Dremel, and used it to grind down one of the tiles. It worked and saved the day! If it will grind down about 1/4" off a ceramic tile without breaking a sweat I imagine it will do most anything I need it to do.

(More customer reviews)Love the new Dremel! It's a great little tool. We originally purchased it because I wanted to carve "Funkins" for Halloween rather than a real pumpkin. We did use it for that and it worked great. We also used it for our dog's nails and it worked great for that too. She isn't fond of having her nails clipped so this was a better choice. It wasn't as invasive and if you just take your time it's pretty gentle.
