The second blade did not snap, but wore out during the first five minutes. So did the third. My conclusion is that it is not designed for metal. It will probably be OK for wood. The blade is labeled Metal/Wood, hence my negative review.

(More customer reviews)I am glad to be paying $7 bucks a piece instead of $22 at the home stores!These blades have worked wonderfully in my Bosch Lithium cordless oscillating cutter. I mostly install new interior doors with the occasional kitchen or bath. These blades perform exactly like any other blade I have used including a Fein Multi master I used to have. When cutting base boards to install the new doors the occasional nail will quickly ruin the blade. Now its more of a darn instead of a tear forming in the corner of my eye because I have to replace a $20-25 blade. There has been days when I have ruined three blades and it sucked when I was spending $70...now $21 I can live with!! I will be putting in an order for more of these blades after Thanksgiving! Great value & great performance is a nice combination!

However, what I received was different from the picture and the description. My kit has no stainless steel cutting blades, nor does it have the large "triangular" japanese cutting blade pictured in the middle of the kit. I received all black coated blades and a "coarse toothed" narrow blade in the center position. All seem to be robust, and the ones that I have used worked well. Just be warned that you may not receive the described product!

I bought a set off eBay to cut drywall and baseboard. Comparing these blades with Dremel wood blades, the advantage is that they have a wider cutting width. But the uneven teeth on the Japanese blades have several disadvantages. First they remove more materials and create more dusts. Second, the cut surface is less smooth. Third, it is more difficult to slice off a thin piece if your first cut is not straight enough. Fourth, it is more difficult to precisely insert the blade at cut line in a plunge cut. The Japanese blades like to "walk" a little. I don't see many applications where "Japanese blades" can do a better job or faster job in the context of multi-function tool.

(More customer reviews)Blade is much cheaper than the official Dremel grout removal blade. I've never used the Dremel blade but this one worked great for cutting grout. However, ceramic tile should not even be listed in the description. If you are looking to make a line in your tile, it is fine for that. It will not cut the tile though. You get get a pretty good groove with a lot of patience and breaks to let the blade and tool cool off. After trying for awhile I dulled a good part of the blade and gave up. I cut the grout instead and remove the tiles I was looking to put a hole in. I'll cut the hole and lay new tile instead. It does work for grinding thinset as well. Do not get it for tile! I am still giving it a 3 as it does say limited cutting and I didn't really think it would do it.

(More customer reviews)I have been surprised by how useful my Dremel Multimax tool is and have been going through bits/blades/sand paper like crazy--it is logical when you realize that the surface is just not very big whether it is a saw blade or a little triangle of sand paper.
I ordered a little pack of an assortment of accessories that came in a neat little aluminum suitcase. I ordered directly from Amazon and it arrived real fast--earlier than the first estimated date.
When you order from Specialty Diamond (through Amazon) they parcel post it to you (not Priority Mail) and have no choice--no rush choices are offered.
These things are expensive at even Home Pot and not available at the supply companies that cater to the Fein MultiTool pros so these Versa tools are really attractive and they offer for most of these tools.
Just plan ahead and buy a few extra.

This cannot be a high-speed blade as advertized because the rod with which it attaches to the Dremel tool does not center the cutting disk. Simply, the disk hole is bigger than than the shaft and it is impossible to keep the disk on center. Therefore, at high speed it causes severe vibration. Since I could not use it at high speed, I could not test its cutting abilities. Wasted money for me.

(More customer reviews)I bought these to cut nails during some demo work where the recip saw couldn't go. They worked fine for cutting nails. The package says they work best for non ferrous metals, but they seem to be able to cut 10d nails and drywall screws with no problem. I wouldn't use them to cut large pieces of steel, but then again, I wouldn't use the Multi-Max (regardless of blade) to do that either.
The only real con is the cost per blade.

Anco 30-22 Winter Blade (30-22) Review

(More customer reviews)Having had these on my car last year for the winter was the BEST. This past winter (2010-2011) I had on the All Weather Bosch ICONS and they were absolute garbage. When it would rain, the wipers would constantly hop. I bought these Anco ones again and they clean so clear and no ice or snow gets stuck to them.
Car:
2006 Chrysler 300C
PROS:
-Cleans effortlessly
-Ice or Snow does not get stuck
-Easy to install
CONS:
-Not really a con, but a personal preference. The edges of the wipers have a ugly red end and it sticks out. I will just pait the end of that.
Conclusion:
-I reccommend these wipers as an All-Year type. Best set of wiper blades I have owned compared to Bosch ICONS, Bosch All Weather and Rain-X.
